It's with much excitement that we announce our annual Fall Gala event! This year, we’ve decided to change things up a little and have some fun by calling it the Fall Flannel Gala! It's fall, the temperatures are changing, and let's be honest—we love our flannels! So come on out wearing your favorite flannel. Don’t worry if you prefer not to wear one; that's completely okay. For those who do wear flannel, you will receive an extra ticket in the door prize drawing. Why flannel? It’s one of the warmest pieces of clothing for staying cozy in cold temperatures, and it serves as a reminder that we assist many individuals who must brave the elements, which is why we do what we do.
The cost for this event is $30.00, which includes a catered meal, dessert, and a fantastic program. Our guest speaker is Tobin Bawinkel, a friend of our Executive Director's from Chicago. Tobin is the lead singer of two bands that have played at Lifest and many other festivals: Flatfoot 56 and 6'10 (named for his height!). In addition to leading these bands, he is also a school teacher in the Chicagoland area and has lent his assistance many times to those suffering from homelessness, poverty, and other challenges.
If you’d like to receive additional entries in the door prize drawing beyond wearing flannel, you can bring a pantry or hygiene product to earn a ticket for the drawing.
We will once again host this event at the Danes Hall of Waupaca. We have limited seating, so you can click here to purchase your tickets online or stop by our office Monday through Thursday between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. My brother, Jake Adams, will once again provide pre-program music during the 5:00 cocktail hour.
We also have table sponsorship opportunities available. Each $300 table sponsorship comes with 8 tickets to the event.
