FFION PHILLIPSFfion is a bilingual storyteller and folk musician with a passion for breathing new enchantment into old tales and reworking scraps of forgotten material into fresh stories. Her work often explores environmentalist themes and the natural world(s), with much of her repertoire rooted deeply in her native Eryri. As part of the 'Harebell Tellers' alongside Ailsa Dixon she has brought her collaborative shows 'Hear us and Hasten' and 5 star sell-out 'Aderyn/Bird' to the Edinburgh Fringe.
PETER STEVENSON
Peter is a storyteller and folklorist, a book illustrator and writer for children and grown-ups, who has written Ceredigion Folk Tales and many books about Welsh and World folk tales. This includes Boggart, Trolls, & Tylwyth Teg, and The Moon-eyed People. he uses crankies in his storytelling, a large wooden box like a big picture frame that contains a long illustrated scroll which is turned by a handle to create a moving panorama to illustrate the story. Peter will tell Welsh folk tales with his crankie box, and then tun a workshop to show how to make mini crankies using a matchbox.
