Feyleux is a new dark alternative group that formed in mid-2023, combining dreampop and
darkwave. The duo's debut album, "Midnight Hearts," showcases edgy bass synth, swirling
guitars, and icy 80s synthpop melodies while highlighting ethereal vocals. The songs delve into
themes of love, loss, longing, and personal power through a darker lens, with lyrics touching on
paranormal experiences, the occult, exploring liminal spaces, and even contact with the undead.
"Midnight Hearts" strikes a balance between dreamy urgency and drama within the context of
dark romanticism and a subtly danceable sense of anger.
Some Press:
Post-punk.com - "The music entices you with a carefree melody, but the voices suggest
something deeper and a tad unsettling, ensuring you’re always a little bit on edge. It’s that
feeling you get when the ouija board starts spelling out something a little too real." -
Post-punk.com, Alice Teeple
I DIE:YOU DIE - "A firm but beautiful declaration of severance, it’s quite simply one of the best
goth tunes we’ll enjoy this year. Thankfully, it isn’t standing on its own in Midnight Hearts, but is
surrounded by a clutch of elegant and well-considered tunes which have immediately
established Feyleux as a force to be reckoned with moving forward." - idieyoudie.com, Bruce
