This offering is for those of you who feel especially drawn to the world of the Fey.
After five years of teaching a course on fairy folk, I am stepping beyond the classroom and into the jungle for a nature immersed fairy experience. This gathering includes a gentle twist, as a microdose will be part of the journey.
On February 21, we will gather for a facilitator led fairy microdose hike deep in the Río Cuale jungle. The experience will include guided storytelling, fairy education, and time spent attuning to the natural landscape that holds strong fairy presence. If microdosing does not feel aligned for you at this time, I will also be offering a non microdose fairy hike the following weekend so that everyone may participate in a way that feels right for them.
Either way, you can expect to receive a generous dose of fairy magic, wisdom, and earth keeping knowledge.
Group size will be kept very small, with eight people or fewer, to allow for intimacy and care. The hike is moderately strenuous and includes a river crossing by foot, so please plan to wear water shoes and bring a walking stick if you have one. We will meet at a restaurant near the river, where we will share a light breakfast before beginning the hike and, for those participating, a very small microdose of less than half a gram. We expect to return to civilization around 4 pm, though the end time may remain flexible depending on the pace and needs of the group.
A bit about my background and philosophy in working with the Fey. The fair folk are beings who exist in a reality parallel to our own. Those who are particularly sensitive may see, feel, or hear them, and children are often especially attuned to fairy energy. When entering into relationship with the fairies, it is essential to do so with deep respect, admiration, and devotion. These sacred elemental beings lovingly tend the earth grids, the plant spirits, and the living systems of the land. They embody the elemental forces of earth, air, wind, water, and fire.
This educational experience is for those who already feel connected to the fairies and wish to deepen that relationship, as well as for those who sense their presence but are unsure how to begin. It is also for those who already work with fairy energies and wish to meet other like minded people. You may be curious to explore some of the hidden places we have discovered along the Río Cuale that overflow with fairy energy. You may wish to learn how to create a fairy altar, learn about appropriate offerings, and explore respectful and reciprocal ways of interacting with the Fey. You may be interested in the history of the fairies and their relationship to the natural world. Or you may simply wish to enjoy a long hike in nature while connecting with fellow fairy loving folk.
All are welcome. You are warmly encouraged to dress up if you feel called. Face paint, fairy wings, and colorful outfits are joyfully invited.
