About this Event

FEVER ROUGE

Emerging from the vibrant Brighton alternative rock scene, 4 piece Fever Rouge are building a real buzz. With a unique eclectic blend of Indie with post punk, funk and alternative rock.

Fever Rouge’s influences range from King Krule to Red hot Chilli Peppers, Queens of the Stone age and Gorillaz in a modern twist with introspective lyrics and unbridled energy;
their performances are nothing short of a perfect chaos.

The quartet consists of vocalist, guitarist and songwriter Ollie Hughes with lead guitarist Luke Loizou, bass enthusiast Alain De Gouveia and the ‘how is he human’ metronome Oli Mooney.

In the past year Fever Rouge have played over 40 shows across the UK, embarking on their first tour, with highlights being a sold out Green Door Store show in January, supporting the Molotovs at the London Bridge Summer By the River festival, supporting Mouth Culture on their Brighton leg of their UK tour, Canned Pineapple, Die Twice at the Exeter Phoenix and performing at Pub in the Park festival supporting Mcfly. Fever Rouge’s future is promising and brimming with potential as the band matures; With ‘serious potential to command the biggest of festival stages’ - ITS ALL INDIE

AQUALINE

Aqualine are a band based in Guildford composed of Ben, Patrick, Will, Gray, and Sam. Amongst crafting their explosive yet melancholic alternative sound they’ve been gigging all across the south east to build momentum for their upcoming EP. Drawing in captivated crowds to venues from the Boileroom in Guildford, SixSix Bar in Cambridge, the Brunswick in Brighton, to a sold out show in Falmouth, they always deliver an electric performance full of energy and emotion. The debut EP ‘Lurker’ was recorded predominately in Vienna with the producers of ‘Zonkey Studios’ who stumbled across the band at a show in Camden, they’ve since formed a strong connection over creating music that sounds fresh. With each track having a unique flair you can hear a thematic blend of shoegaze, grunge, hip-hop, and ambience throughout. Aqualine work towards pushing their upcoming singles whilst preparing to return to Vienna to work on the next project.
