We're proud to bring this special holiday to the people of Fairmont, and anyone else who shows up too! Festivus is a holiday that deliberately avoids the type of rampant commercialism we all hate, but still participate in.Our festivus pole has already been pulled out of the crawlspace!
Outside food is welcome; It doesn't have to be meatloaf served on a bed of lettuce!
At 7:00, we will begin the ceremonies with The Airing of Grievances. That'll be your chance to get some complaints off your chest in a cathartic ceremony.
Festivus is concluded with Feats of Strength. Traditionally, the head of the household would wrestle someone until they are pinned to the ground. We'd like the celebration to last more than ten seconds, so instead of wrestling Jon, we'll be playing boardgames, card games, and whatever else seems fun and safe. If you play Magic: The Gathering, this is an opportunity to bring a commander deck 💪
