Festivus Cross 2024Admit it. After several weeks you’re sick of your fellow cross racers. Each week you roll across the finish line, huddle in this fetid little group of losers and feign good will with a compulsory congratulatory utterance regarding another’s skills, when deep down inside you think they suck and really just want to ride them into the ground.
Well rejoice, Festivus revelers - FX’24 is finally here; the race series where sportsmanship goes to die. Rather than just wishing misfortune on your competitors you can take an active role in maximizing their misery.
The series will be two races on the 11th and 18th. There will be prizes, mostly for dastardly deeds and injuries. While designs aren’t yet complete, count on intersecting courses with occasional two-way traffic, nasty climbs, multiple bridges and obligatory loops around the Festivus pole. Plenty of opportunities for bad things to happen.
Ride at 6:00, race at 6:15.
