About this Event
Join us at Tyland Barn for a workshop that will guide you through the process of making a naturally-styled wreath. Enjoy a mulled wine as you learn how to weave a ring from willow. You'll then use your willow ring as a base, adding seasonal foliage to the branches to give your wreath its festive look.
We'll have a selection of ribbons to finish off your creation ready for your front door, but we'll be using natural items as much as possible- everything you'll use can either be composted or reused, so you'll know your wreath is kind to the environment!
We'll provide all the materials you need, but you're welcome to bring any accessories (such as mini baubles or battery lights) you'd like to add to personalise your wreath. A pair of gardening gloves would be useful, but let us know in advance if you'd like to borrow some. Unless the weather is really poor, we'll be based in the covered shelter in the grounds- so please wrap up warm with plenty of layers.
A natural decoration making workshop is also taking place at Tyland Barn between 10.30am and 12.30pm. Why not join us for both sessions and make a day of it? A limited number of combined tickets are available for £50.
Between Saturday 2 and Friday 8 November, tickets are available to Kent Wildlife Trust members only. Please check your emails and enter your code into the Promo Code box. Tickets will be released for general sale on Saturday 9 November.
Unfortunately tickets cannot be refunded within 30 days of the event.
