We will have a short tour of the farm, to see what the trees look like in the autumn and what we can see growing. We will then spend some time together in our indoor workshop making festive decorations using the willow and bulrush that we grow here on the farm, plus some golden poppy tops and other festive sparkle! Children will be able to choose from stars, Christmas trees or angels. They are all projects suitable for older children to work on independently or younger children with some adult help.I will try and make the workshop as ‘small child-proof’ as possible and there will be books and toys to keep any small family members entertained if needed.
The end time of the workshop is flexible and can be extended, depending on how the children feel and how much time they need to finish.
We will have a fun and relaxed morning and refreshments will be available (with healthy snacks!). This session will require parental supervision - parents are welcome to have a go for themselves!
The cost of the workshop is £12 per child and £8 per sibling.
