About this Event

Welcome to Festive Plushies! Join us at 6 Albyn Place for a fun in-person event. Enjoy a mindful session with Kirsten making adorable plushies that will get you into the festive spirit.

Whether you are looking to explore some new skills or just spend some time with friends or loved ones, this event is perfect for you! Our collection of plushies for the workshop are:

Festive cookie with sprinkles, christmas bauble and christmas pud!

During this workshop you'll learn some basic hand stitches such as the blanket stitch. This workshop is suitable for beginners and people who wish to learn to hand sew. Ages 12 and over.

Tutor: Kirsten(they/she) of @outtheboxcrafts graduated from Gray's School of Art in 2023, studying fashion, after exploring felt craft and finding it therapeutic, wanted to share the techniques they have been working on to make cute plushies!

The Venue: Out the box crafts is a new arts collective that meets at 6 Albyn Place, Aberdeen, AB10 1YH. There are multiple entrances to the studio, including access. Please email [email protected] for more information including videos of the approach to the studio.

First busses 11, 1&2, 19, 13 - Stagecoach busses 6 & 5 nearest bus stop is Holburn Junction / Alford Place / Albyn Place. There is a small visitors car park available at the front of the venue and on street parking surrounding the building.
