Learn the technique of linocut printmaking with ejsparkles, to create a unique Christmas card design!
In this 2.5 hour workshop you will learn how to design and carve a linocut to make your own festive cards. Printmaker ejsparkles will guide you step-by-step through the process and by the end you will have printed a series of cards. You will also leave with the techniques and knowledge to continue hand-printing at home and your printing block which you can use many times over. The same technique can be used for printing wrapping paper and many other items.
This is a workshop designed for beginners. Linocut is a mindful and fun process and is very accessible, no art-skills needed!
All materials and refreshments will be provided - please contact E-J for any allergies and dietary requirements.
Maximum 6 people per class.
Level: beginner and above.
Minimum age: 14 years with accompanying adult

E-J is a printmaker working in Brighton, her work is vibrant, colourful and joyful and often inspired by plants. She enjoys experimenting within her print editions so that each print is rarely the same.
