About this Event
We will be joined by Jagannatha and friends for a beautiful afternoon together to warm our hearts and join in song and shared supper. A perfect way to celebrate Mid Winter in Community.
We think of Kirtan as singing yoga. It's a way to connect with community and the Divine through the Universal, ancient and powerful sounds of the Sanskrit language. Kirtan can be profoundly healing, uplifting, and just plain fun! In today's times, we don't often find opportunity to sing in community and this provides a really approachable yet deep way to join our voices in a really positive way.
The afternoon will close with a shared meal of a tasty, grounding and nutritious Vegan GF Wholesome Bowl served by The Vegan Spice Company. The food will be prepared and offered as Prassad (blessed food) in the Spirit of Bhakti (the path of love and devotion).
No experience is necessary and you don't need a good singing voice. These events are joyous and uplifting and provide a great way to connect with the eternal essence of who we really are, with others and with something much bigger than ourselves.
Please bring: A bowl and spoon for your supper (to save on waste)
friends and family (kids so very welcome with under 16's free! - limited availabilty)

Cozy blankets, pillows/cushions to sit on if you'd like!
We have a few chairs if you prefer to be a little more elevated.
