On Sunday 8th December 2024, we’ll be laying on a 3-course Christmas Lunch including all the scrumptious traditional trimmings as we celebrate the Christmas season with a visit from Father Christmas. It will be a lovely family day out and you will not only leave stuffed from a scrumptious Christmas dinner but filled with Christmas spirit.Sunday Lunch will be served in our Ballroom and there will also be tea, coffee and mini mince pies, with the menu including Roast Turkey with all the trimmings as well as Pumpkin Spiced Chocolate Cheesecake. The whole house will be decked out in decorations, garlands and trees for a truly magical Christmas event – if you’ve never been to the mansion during Christmas, it’s definitely worthwhile as it turns into a winter wonderland.
Father Christmas will also join us and your children will not only get to take photos with him but will also receive a special gift. We haven’t forgotten about the adults, you will receive a glass of festive fizz on arrival as a special festive treat.
Be sure to wear your best festive wears, Christmas jumpers and accessories encouraged! Meet and greet with Father Christmas starts at 12.15pm, with lunch served at 1pm.

Starter
Ham Hock and Pea Terrine
Served with toasted brioche and chunky piccalilli
Hot Roast Smoked Salmon
With roasted beetroot and a lemon crème fraiche
Caramelised Root Vegetable Tart Tatin (v)
With goat’s cheese mousse and balsamic reduction
Cauliflower and Chestnut Soup (ve)
topped with crunchy garlic croutons
Main course
Roast Turkey with all the Trimmings
accompanied by seasonal vegetables and a red wine reduction
Roasted Topside of Beef with a Honey and Mustard Glaze
Served with Yorkshire pudding, roasted parsnips, seasonal vegetables and potatoes
Baked Fillet of Salmon
Served with vegetables and crushed new potatoes with a creamy dill sauce
Portobello Mushroom En-Croute (v)
With mushroom fricassee, winter vegetables and Madeira jus
Dessert
Christmas Mess
Mixed winter berries, cream and meringue with a sprinkling of cinnamon
Chocolate Orange and Whisky Fondant
Served with orange segments, clotted cream and chocolate sauce
Pumpkin Spiced Cheesecake
Served with cream, caramel sauce and chopped pecans
Trio of Cheese
Brie, Cheddar and Stilton accompanied by crackers, grapes, celery and festive chutney
Followed by
Tea, coffee and mini mince pies

Tickets are priced at £55 per adult including 3-course Christmas lunch and welcome drink, and £27.50 per child including 3-course Christmas lunch and a gift from Father Christmas. Photos with Father Christmas are also included.
