Come join me for a festive day of craft at Abbot House! In this workshop, you'll learn a range of embroidery techniques and apply them to one of my floral designs.

This workshop is the perfect introduction to hand embroidery. You will learn a variety of stitch techniques that create lovely festive flowers and foliage to create this winter design.
During this relaxing workshop, you will be introduced to a range of hand embroidery techniques. You will start work on your project, and be given the materials and instructions to complete this in your own time at home.
This workshop is suitable for beginners and experienced stitchers alike. If you are a beginner, I will guide you through each stitch, how to thread your needle and load your hoop with fabric. Embroidery can be a calming, mindful practice, and so this workshop will be relaxed and informal.
No experience necessary - I will guide you every step of the way. All materials will be provided, just bring yourself and your creativity! Don't miss out on this opportunity to learn a new skill and meet fellow craft enthusiasts.
Embroidery techniques we will cover include - Blanket Stitch, Turkey Stitch, Satin Stitch & French Knots.
Due to the hands-on approach of this workshop, tickets will be limited.
Come and discover the joys of embroidery at the beautiful Abbot House, Dunfermline.
*The venue is not wheelchair accessible. The class will be run in Abbot House's Flight Room and is up a flight of stairs.
*No parking available on site, however paid parking is available nearby in various locations.
*Please bring a bottle of water with you. No food can be consumed within the room we will be using, but we will break for a refreshment and there are multiple lovely cafes you can grab a bite to eat in.
