About this Event
Enter into the festive spirit with local outdoor artist Charlie Hill and Woodland Wellbeing who would like to invte you to a sparkly festive morning guiding you to create a number of unique festive decorations with nature's beautiful materials.
While you are creating you can learn all about the folklore that surrounds the plants you are using, how they are tied in with our festive traditions and how to identify them.
You can choose to make a variety of decorations such as festive willow creations, mini-wreathes or learn to make natural cordage to create a unique festive hanger.
All this whilst being immersed in a beautiful woodland garden with a cosy campfire keeps us warm and heat up some seasonal drinks and festive treats.
- All you need to bring is yourself and dress for the weather.
- In the event of heavy rain or strong winds, the event may be rescheduled and / or refunds offered. In the event of lighter rain, the area will be covered with shelters.
- Welfare facilities are available in the house.
- Accessibility - the woodland garden is set in a small valley down steep steps so no wheelchair access is available unfortunately. We would like to run similar sessions in other areas of Sheffield so if you would like to join but need good access, please do let us know so we can contact you for future sessions.
