Who are we & what do we do?

Hi everyone, Becci & Yvonne here- we’re the duo making up ‘The Crafty Monkeys’. We are a small family-run craft business catering for all ages, abilities & occasions. We specialise in wreath making & craft parties. We consider ourselves experts in a broad array of crafting & can’t wait to pass on some of what we’ve learnt to you lovely lot.

Event location

We would like to invite you to our new & exciting Christmas craft retreat at the stunning Ince Benet mansion, which is situated in the beautiful, peaceful woodland just 10 miles outside of Liverpool city centre.

Who is the retreat for?

This retreat is perfect for anyone wishing to escape for the night & immerse themselves in a creative environment with new, like-minded people. It would be perfect for a group of friends as an alternative ‘girls’ night in’ or Christmas party.

What is the retreat consisting of?

During your time at our craft retreat you will create:

Definite:

- A natural Christmas door wreath

- Glass bauble decorating/ filling

- Macrame masterclass

- Mosaic creation

Optional/ time permitting:

- Hand embroidery

- Driftwood ribbon tree decorations

- Napkin decoupage prosecco bottles/ candles

What is included in the ticket price?

Included in your ticket price is:

- Crafting workshops including tuition & all materials (worth over £300)

- Macrame workshop from our special guest- Knotty Potty- look her up- she's ace

- Prosecco/ alternative soft drink on arrival

- Light lunch- afternoon tea -30/11/24

- Dinner (for all requirements) -30/11/24

- Breakfast pastries/ toast & jam- 1/12/24

- Basic soft drinks

- Overnight stay in en-suite bedrooms

- Bring your own alcohol privileges without corkage fee

- Parking for up to 12 cars

* Add on: Branded tote goody bag with some further crafting materials- £25*

Please bring:

- Gardening gloves for the wreath making

- Gardening shears

- Any small photographs/ keepsakes for fillable bauble

- A thick candle or wine/prosecco bottle for napkin decoupage

- Your own booze

- Any further snacks/ food you may desire

- Any specialised milks

- Means to transport your creations home with you- unless you're purchasing a goody bag

Fine details

- Any special dietary requirements or allergies must be given by 2 weeks prior to event for catering purposes

- £200 per ticket based on 2 people sharing a double room (doubled bed & 2 rooms with single beds)

- You are welcome to bring your own wine or other favourite tipples, however we have been asked to be respectful of the accommodation and surrounding neighbours

- Please wear clothing you don’t mind getting messy- Christmas attire heavily encouraged

- We are legally required to stay on site as we are the organisers but after a certain time, we will leave you all to craft & chat to your hearts content

- Tickets are non-refundable
