Create your own natural soap ready for the Christmas season using traditional methods in this mini workshop. Using plant based ingredients and a range of essential oils blends you will learn the techniques of traditional soap making and take home a loaf of soap which will cut into 8-10 bars of loveliness.There is a choice of festive recipes to choose from as well as a range of popular essential oils blends which include, for example:
Geranium & Patchouli
Lavender & Rosemary
Winter germ buster
Lemon & black pepper
Orange & Cedar
You can choose to colour and decorate your soap with a wide variety of clays, spices and botanicals.
All ingredients, soap making, safety equipment and workshop notes are provided. You will need to bring an apron, pen, a cardboard box big enough to hold a tetra pack (fruit juice/long life milk carton) and an old beach towel or blanket to take your box home in.
This workshop is held at Abbey House.
This workshop is the same as the morning session on the same day. If you prefer a morning workshop it is available to book on our website.
