Christmas Treasure Tree Workshop
Looking for new ideas for ways of using treasure you find on the Cornish coastline..?
Join us in Penryn, near Falmouth, for a relaxed 2–3 hour workshop creating your very own Festive Beach Treasure Tree – a beautiful decoration made from coastal finds such as driftwood, shells, and sea glass.
This friendly, creative session is a refreshing alternative to the usual wreath-making workshop – perfect for small groups of friends looking for something a little different this festive season. With laughter and coastal charm, you’ll make something truly unique to take home and treasure.
The process:
During this workshop, you will make a fabulous Christmas tree from Clare’s range of beach combed findings; a lovely keepsake for yourself or maybe a gift for someone who appreciates a bit of handmade delight.
Clare will expertly guide you through each stage to enable a successful outcome for you to proudly take home, whatever your level of skill or experience. You will learn about beach combing, the things you can find and then using wire wrapping technique to enable a finished piece.
All materials and tools will be provided but you are welcome to bring your own beach treasure if you’d like to use and incorporate it.
Clare has been a creative educator for over 25 years and is excited to be able to share her skills, knowledge and passion with others, in the Sea Glass Studio.
