Learn how to make a special festive themed basket out of foraged materials available in the winter time, such as Willow, Holly and Ivy. Basket making as a craft uses creativity to avoid stress, it gives us time to think about life and resolve anything mentally, and also learning a new skill builds confidence.
This time of year can be very stressful and making baskets is a great stress reliever allowing you to 'switch-off' for a few hours and re-charge. This in-person workshop gives the opportunity to do all of the above plus connect with like-minded people.
This workshop is suitable for all levels and will involve crafting a festive themed table basket out of foraged materials using some basic basketry weaving techniques.
Tickets are priced at £45 per person, which includes all materials, a mince pie and a glass of alcoholic or non-alcoholic fizz for you to get into the festive spirit plus you get to take home your very own handcrafted festive basket to admire on the dinner table on Christmas Day.
