Exciting Collaboration Announcement! 🐾🌾🧑🌾The Rustenburg Farmers Market and Farmer Production Support Unit recently had the privilege of meeting with the passionate team from Lost Valley Predator Education.
We’re thrilled to announce that the Farmer Production Support Unit will be partnering with Lost Valley Predator Education Park for the highly anticipated “Festival to Create Hope for Wildlife”, taking place on Saturday, 6 and Sunday, 7 December 2025, from 09:00 to 17:00.
This festive weekend promises something for everyone — a vibrant selection of Farmers Market stalls, live performances by local favourites Riaan Rust and Leon Cremer, family-friendly activities, and most importantly, the unforgettable Big Cat Experience! 🐆🎶
The Lost Valley Predator Education Park is dedicated to educating and empowering the public about the importance of wildlife in captivity while raising funds through initiatives like the Festival to Create Hope for Wildlife.
🦁🐾 All proceeds raised will go directly toward the enhancement and upkeep of the park, helping to create a better, safer environment for these magnificent animals 🐾🦁
❤️It’s vital that everyone understands the true purpose of our festival — to support the wild animals in our care and raise awareness about why parks like ours exist. Sadly, truly wild nature no longer exists; everything is now fenced in and human-controlled. That’s why we do our best to provide a safe haven for these animals and to educate the public about their stories and the challenges they face. 🐾🤗❤️
