About this Event
As part of the 2025 Festival of Tomorrow, we have teamed up with local comic Sam Michael for a comedy night with a scientific element!
We have 3 brilliant comics, mixing comedy with science. The evening will be MC’d by our legendary local comedy king, Sam Michael from Old Town Comedy Club, with fantastic sets from Matt Hobs, back again after a brilliant set at last year’s festival, and Scottish comedian and chaos potato, Lynsey Smart!
We're thrilled to welcome Freya McGhee as this year's headliner. With a background in STEM, Freya fuses the worlds of science, comedy and dating. Join her as she experiments with new material, from the chemistry of attraction to the physics of getting ghosted. Freya will be taking a break from performing at some of London's top comedy clubs to bring to Swindon her self-deprecating style matched with a determination to seek revenge on ex-boyfriends. Her sell-out shows in London and at Edinburgh Fringe ‘Comedians in STEM’ proves the hypothesis that she has the ability to create a chemical bond with her audience.
“Freya is one of those acts that whenever I’m on the bill with her it’s like ‘OH HELL YES!’ She is so funny it’s actually annoying!’ – Helen Bauer as seen on live at the apollo
Join us for a great night for comedy and science fans alike!
This event will take place at No4 Studios, First Floor, 4 Devizes Road, Old Town. Swindon SN1 4BJ.
