Festival of Small Halls is a series of tours that takes the best folk and contemporary acoustic artists and sends them on the road to tiny halls in communities all over Australia. It is produced by Woodfordia Inc in partnership with many other wonderful Australian festivals, regional partners and great lovers and supporters of folk and contemporary acoustic music. Church of Christ Marburg stands on the traditional lands of the Jagera, Yuggera and Ugarapul People.
Festival of Small Halls rolls into Marburg on Saturday, 16 December 2023 with Jackie Marshall and Assynt.
There will be food available on the night including a BBQ by The Great Marburg Bake Off, steak burgers & salad (gluten free and vegetarian available), frogs in a pond, eton mess and gingerbread ice-cream sandwiches for dessert. There will also be a bar with beer, cocktails, sparkling wine, soft drinks, non-alcoholic punch, and tea & coffee.
The Great Marburg Bake Off will have a stall with tea-towels and knitted tea cosies available to purchase as well as a raffle and Christmas tree decorating competition.

Full Admission – $30
Concession – $20 (Pensioners, Health Care Card, Student)
Doors Open 6.30pm
Show Starts 7.00pm
Church of Christ Marburg has accessible entry (ramp at entry) and has accessible bathrooms (male and female accessible bathrooms).

Festival of Small Halls events take place in venues operating under an approved QLD Health Covid Safe Event Checklist, and has stringent Workplace Health and Safety requirements for all travelling artists and crew. Under the terms and conditions of all events, you must not attend if you have any symptoms of Covid-19.
