Festival of Small Halls is a series of tours that takes the best folk and contemporary acoustic artists and sends them on the road to tiny halls in communities all over Australia. It is produced by Woodfordia Inc in partnership with many other wonderful Australian festivals, regional partners and great lovers and supporters of folk and contemporary acoustic music.
Stanley Town Hall stands on the traditional lands of the North West Tasmanian Aboriginal People.
The Stanley Town Hall is nestled at the base of the Nut. The Hall was opened in 1911, and in 1988 the Hall was listed on the Tasmanian Heritage Register. During 2010 – 2011 there was a full restoration completed courtesy of a State Government grant. The Hall is a feature in the Stanley streetscape.
Stanley is a beautiful seaside village that is the perfect getaway destination. Come and meet the friendly locals who will make you feel welcome.
