Calling all songwriters, lyricists, composers, and live music lovers – the Festival Of Original Music (FOOM) is back for 2025! ✨This year's FOOM will have 5 Live Heats at the Jade:
📅 7, 14 and 28 August
📅 4 and 11 September
AND, of course, one Grand Final, which will be held at Trinity Sessions in Clarence Park on Saturday 20 September.
There are cash prizes up for grabs across four categories:
🎶 Live Performance
🎶 Demo Unreleased
🎶 Instrumental
🎶 Lyrics / Libretto
Competition entries are $15 per entry for SCALA members and $37 for non-members.
Live Performance entrants will showcase their skills at the Live Heats (like this one) with finalists battling it out at the Grand Final.
Anyone can join the audience! To attend the Live Heats:
🎶 Free for SCALA members
🎶 $10 for non-members
To attend the Grand Final:
🎶 $10 for SCALA members
🎶 $25 for non-members
