Perth Tourism presents the annual FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS, taking place in the Tay Basin Parking Lot on Friday, December 6, 2024.Carolling begins with the MEN AND WOMEN OF THE TAY at 5:30pm, outside of the Crystal Palace beside the bonfire. The good folks with THE TABLE COMMUNITY FOOD CENTRE will be there with chili, hot cocoa and their famous ginger cookies, in exchange for donations (pay what you can, if you can).
NEW THIS YEAR: a DRONE SHOW will take place in the skies at 6:15pm! Viewing will be from the Tay Basin Parking Lot looking west. Please check back to this site as we will update with road closure information as we have it.
After the drone show, the Crystal Palace will be opened so the public can view the COMMUNITY CHRISTMAS TREES, until 8pm.
The Festival of Lights (Christmas Trees) will be lit for viewing from November 15th until January 2nd, from the outside of the building, or inside during community events. Please check the Town's event calendar frequently as we update the list of special events taking place at the Palace, through the months of November and December.
