Greetings and Happy Holidays!
While it may seem early, we couldn't wait to share exciting news about an event that has been a cornerstone of our community for over 15 years. Formerly known as the Festival of Trees, this beloved tradition has evolved into something even more impactful under a new name: the Festival of Giving.
Tykes & Teens has entrusted the Children’s Museum of the Treasure Coast with continuing this wonderful tradition, but with a significant twist. The Festival of Giving embraces the true spirit of the season by expanding its reach to benefit a variety of children’s and family service agencies, including our cherished family pets.
If you've attended in the past, you'll find the format familiar. This year, businesses, organizations, chambers, and individuals are invited to design and donate a tree, wreath, or centerpiece, to benefit the Museum or a nonprofit of their choice. These beautiful creations will be showcased at The Children’s Museum for a full week. Raffle tickets will be sold for each item with the proceeds going to the designated organization.
By hosting this event, the Children’s Museum of the Treasure Coast is proud to collaborate with our community partners to spread joy and support throughout the season. This isn't just our story—it's an opportunity to discover and appreciate the wealth of resources available in our community.
During the specified hours, the museum welcomes the public to experience the festive display of Christmas trees, wreaths, and centerpieces at no cost. Enjoy the holiday music as you explore these beautiful decorations.
Please note that outside these hours, during general museum hours, only museum guests with children who are either members or have paid admission will be able to view the displays.
Guests can also purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win one of the featured trees, wreaths, or centerpieces. The raffle drawing will take place after the museum closes on Saturday, November 23rd.
