Awkward Giraffe's second Festival of Critical Comedy. Two days, 2pm till late, of comedy aiming to challengepreconceptions and expand the range of thought.
Festival of Critical Comedy
The legendary comedy team Ridiculusmus, with David Woods and Jonathan Haynes will do two shows, the first "Alas Poor Yorick" will be at dusk on the Saturday. The second, "How To be Funny", with the assistence of Dr James Daley will be on the Sunday afternoon.
And then we have the notorious bane of liberal complacency Steve Hughes.
Sofie Prints the dark lady of stand up will be there to explore the limits of reality.
Marc Oszkha the small bald guy with a beard and a very bad attitude.
Kieran Butler, the aging enfant terrible of Australian satire, will tell you to despair and make it funny.
Slappy T fearless and tuneful voyager across the human soul.
Kirk McKenzie, Homeless Kirk, the disturbing man from the edge, will make you question your life choices. And his.
Kasey Mills will explore the limits of belief and how we know what we think we know.
Louis Nicoll will explore the comedic possibilities of the piano.
Tim Cummins has gathered a group of comedians to talk about something other than themselves.

What we are hoping is that people will come and stay for the whole day or whole weekend, watch different acts perhaps of a type or point of view that they would not otherwise have seen, and hang around for discussion. Leave that weekend free, it will be awesome.l
The Melbourne Unitarian Peace Memorial Church is a scenic 10 minutes walk from Parliament Station or Jolimont Station, through the historic Fitzroy Gardens. Or a couple of
minutes from the 12 or 109 tram. Then there are buses, bikes, scooters and automobiles Wheelchair accessible, BYO alochol.
