Praxisfestivalen 2025 - The Palestine Edition, 10.-15. november
Festivalen har i år invitert fem av de mest toneangivende innen palestinsk dansekunst til Oslo for å dele arbeidet sitt med oss.
Hva vil det si å skape dans under okkupasjon, apartheid og folkemord? Praxisfestivalen 2025 – The Palestine Edition tar utgangspunkt i nettopp dette – og inviterer til en uke med workshops rettet mot profesjonelle scenekunstnere, forestillinger, filmivisnger, panelsamtaler, palestinsk mat og mer.
Midt i et ufattelig tap av liv er vi også vitne til et enormt tap av kunst, dans og kulturarv. Gjennom å invitere palestinske dansekunstnere til Norge reflekterer festivalen over hvilke kropper som får synes – og hvordan dans kan være et språk for motstand, sorg og fellesskap.
Eventet er gratis og åpent for alle.

Welcome to the festival kick-off with an introduction to the festival program, a film screening in collaboration with The Palestinian Movement Film Festival, mingling and Palestinian food.
The Praxis-festival 2025 – The Palestine Edition, 10th to the 15th of November. This year, the festival has invited five of the most influential artists in Palestinian dance to Oslo to share their work with us. What does it mean to create dance under occupation, apartheid, and genocide?
The Praxis-festival 2025 – The Palestine Edition explores precisely this question, inviting you to a week of workshops for professional artists, performances, film screenings, panel discussions, Palestinian food, and more.
Amid an unimaginable loss of life, we are also witnessing a profound loss of art, dance, and cultural heritage. By inviting Palestinian dance artists to Norway, the festival reflects on which bodies are allowed to be seen, and how dance can serve as a language of resistance, grief, and community.
The event is free and open to everyone.

The festival is co-produced and hosted by Dansens Hus. Collaborators are Proda, Rom for dans, Høyskolen for dansekunst, PraxisOslo, Danseinformasjonen and Black Box Theatre. Funded by the Arts Council Norway.
