Come join us on Ascension Day as we commemorate the ascension of Jesus Christ into heaven following his resurrection. Through the celebration of the Eucharist, we remember Jesus’s sacrificial love and the promise of redemption that his ascension brings.The Very Revd Dr Jane Hedges, the Cathedral’s former Interim Dean, will lead the service as part of her celebration of 30 years since her ordination as a priest. Jane was among the first female priests ordained in the country, and we are delighted to welcome her back.
