Join our passionate group of experts from Fermentis and RahrBSG for the Fermentis Academy for Homebrewers in Denver, CO on Friday, October 11.
Whether you are a local Colorado homebrewer, or you are in town to attend the Great American Beer Festival, we invite you to join us for a full-day event dedicated to educating homebrewers about the fascinating world of brewing and fermentation! Held at the Metropolitan State University (MSU) of Denver Hospitality Leaning Center, it's the perfect place to learn, share, and exchange ideas about homebrewing.
Attendees will enjoy a full day of hands-on training, sensory analysis, and exclusive presentations from our passionate experts:
· Dive deep into yeast selection, and how to understand the differences between strains
· Learn all about the meticulous selection process for yeast
· Discover the art of sensory analysis to learn about how yeast selection impacts your final beer
· Take part in immersive sessions on malt from Brew Your Own magazine’s “Mr. Wizard”, Ashton Lewis
· Perform an assortment of mashing analysis workshops utilizing methods from the American Society of Brewing Chemists (ASBC)
· Taste exclusive beers made with new age brewing ingredients and methods
· Every attendee is entered into a raffle to win top-tier brewing gear from industry-leading brands like Grainfather and Still Spirits
· Tour the Charlie Papazian Brewing Education Lab, and learn about the programs offered at MSU Denver

Seminar: 9:00am-4:30pm
We ask each participant for an amount of $29. This price includes participation for all the activities during the day, lunch at MSU, and tasting of beers brewed by the MSU brewery with Fermentis yeasts.
