Everyone's talking about fermented foods and drinks!
For good reason- they're tasty, nutritious and actually very easy to make yourself at home.
This is a great value workshop to introduce you to a variety of ferments and set you up to do it all yourself at home.
This practical class, with my usual hands-on instruction, has full demos of how to make gut-healthy drinks and delicious secondary products from them (cultured butter and kefir cream cheese, anyone?).
We put on batches of sauerkraut and preserved lemons in the class for you to take home, and learn how to make other pickled vegetables.
You also leave with kombucha, ginger beer, milk and water kefir cultures to make your own delicious probiotic drinks. A folder full of recipes and fermentation tips is included.
Perhaps best of all, a full tasting platter of fermented foods is provided. Yum!
