Do you like food and music? Are you interested in preserving food? If so, welcome to the Fermented Beets Workshop with live music by Fermented Beats! Join us on Thursday October 10th for a 2-hour immersive experience at Velum Fermentation to make a jar of beets to ferment at home.
During this unique workshop, Trevor Ring (founder of Community Cultures and bassist of Fermented Beats) will guide you through how to preserve vegetables with fermentation, as the band infuses the beets with beats during parts of the experience (see the timeline below).

7PM - Intro Music with Fermented Beats
7:15PM - Intro to Vegetable Fermentation
7:30PM - Chopping Beets & Salting w/ Live Music
7:45PM - Fermentation Wrap-Up / Q&A
8:15 - 9PM - Full Set by Fermented Beets
*Note: if you'd like to experience the band without the beets workshop, the live music is free with a suggested $5 donation.
