Join Net Impact Boston as we help collect recyclables during the Red Sox vs. Yankees game on Friday, August 12th from 6pm until the game ends!
Volunteering will involve collecting recyclables during stoppage in play (in between innings, pitching changes etc.) starting from the 1st pitch until the 7th inning. This amounts to about 45 mins of volunteering and the remaining 2+ hours of watching baseball!
As a thank you, every volunteer will receive a free Green Team T-Shirt and a voucher for a free hot dog/pretzel and soda.
If you register but are unable to make it, we ask that you please cancel your ticket so someone else may take your place. We have a limited number of volunteer slots.
Important volunteering notes:
- All volunteers must be 18 years or older to participate
- All volunteers must arrive 1 hour before the first pitch with a signed waiver of liability (6 p.m. arrival as the game starts at 7:10p.m.)
- Bags can be no larger than 5 inches by 9 inches by 2 inches. If you need to store a larger bag, there is a mobile storage locker truck at the Lansdowne garage near Gate E where lockers can be rented.
- Volunteers may not consume alcohol during the game as we are representing the Red Sox community.
- Volunteers are asked to dress comfortably, but neatly. We'd recommend wearing sneakers or close-toed shoes as you will be walking in the stands.
