💛💛 FemmSouth is excited to announce our second social with special guests—Christina from Alabama Campaign for Adolescent Sexual Health (ACASH) and Miranda from the Sexuality Information and Education Council of the United States (SIECUS). Our aim is to create authentic, candid conversations with parents, educators, and caregivers about how to support healthy, comprehensive, and inclusive conversations with our kids about sex. Both organizations are on the frontline of advocacy, working to affect change at federal, state, and local levels, and both are recognized leaders in the field of sexuality and sex education. 🫂

SIECUS envisions a future where comprehensive sex education is the foundation for health, pleasure, and wholeness—a nation where every individual’s identity is affirmed, and communities are safe and supportive. We advocate for transformative public policies, build robust cross-movement coalitions, and foster a national dialogue, ensuring sex education drives social change. Join us in our commitment to a sustainable and equitable future for all.

ACASH envisions access to comprehensive sexual health for adolescents throughout Alabama and advances our mission to champion healthy adolescent development through medically accurate and equitable sexual health education and services.

We also want to hear from you—your experiences, your questions, and your resources i.e., books 📚 or websites that you've used. We encourage participants to submit questions (anonymously if desired) for our guests beforehand, so that we can make sure to hear from everyone. Please send questions to [email protected]. We'll also have an anonymous question box where you can handwrite and submit in person.

🌸 To secure your spot, we are asking for a suggested donation of $25. This allows us to support our guests' travels.
