Featuring unique arrangements of classics by Queen, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Rush, AC/DC, Van Halen and more, this one-of-a-kind performance continues to sell out venues across the U.S.
Created and fronted by rock violinist Nina DiGregorio, whose groundbreaking viral electric violin cover of Van Halen’s “Eruption” has garnered worldwide acclaim and multiple millions of views, the Femmes have shared stages with Kansas, Bad Company, Ted Nugent, Cheap Trick, and Lynyrd Skynyrd. With a résumé that includes stints with Stevie Wonder, David Foster, The Killers, Beyonce´ and Deep Purple, Nina brings iconic rock solos to life with the FEMMES OF ROCK show on a whole new level.
FEMMES OF ROCK member, Carissa Werner, was raised in Tucson, Arizona, where she began learning to play piano at age 5. She added the viola and violin at age 7 and guitar at age 10. Carissa studied music at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, AZ after high school. She played in the NAU Symphony Orchestra/Chamber Orchestra and earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education. Carissa has performed professionally across the US/Canada and has shared the stage with great artists such as Michael Bublé, Toby Keith, Bad Bunny, Kygo, Richard Marx, Eric Benet, Laura Pausini, Michael McDonald, Train, Taylor Hicks, Cheyanne and many more. She has performed live on the Latin Grammy’s and the Latin Billboard Awards. She’s currently a proud member of Femmes of Rock.
