About this Event

Welcome to Feminist Filmmaking in Cuba, Catalunya and Glasgow. Join us for an exciting event of cinema and revolutionary respair where we're seeking feminist activists interested in film for activism. This is an opportunity to participate in an experimental project which explores how AV technology might be utilised to build international networks of feminist activists.

We'll discuss how activists from Cuba, Catalonia & Scotland are working to develop creative dialogues by using cheap film and video technology. It’s an experiment, and it will be fun. No experience necessary. All welcome.

Hosted by Havana Glasgow Film Festival and Ragged Cinema. Supported by Glasgow City Council’s Lord Provost’s and Internationalisation Office, the University of Glasgow and Universitat Rovira i Virgili.

The event will take place at the Centre for Contemporary Arts in Glasgow, Scotland.
