These sessions are designed for female riders ages 14-18 years who are already racing and wanting to find that extra level, gain those extra valuable seconds and fine tune your race craft. These sessions break down everything there is to know about racing. Designed by professional female rider and ex world cup racer Katy Curd, we have turned experience in to knowledge and knowledge into learning. We have a proven structure in place to help develop their skills in a fun and safe environment. These sessions will strip back all the essential skills needed to control the bike at speed and work on one skill each session. This way the focus is easy and the progression is fast.
We look at all areas of riding to help push their performance on the bike, these courses are designed with one thing in mind, to help you go faster. We give the riders the tools and knowledge to build trust in their own ability, through trust comes confidence and through confidence comes speed.
This structured program looks in depth at every aspect of racing from skills techniques to complete mental focus. Our aim is to build up a base of knowledge over time so each individual rider starts to be able to build these techniques into their own personal style and race program. We understand every rider is different so we work closely with each individual to help find a learning style that works for them. Katy Curd will be delivering these courses and will be on hand in between each monthly course as a mentor via phone or email, for any questions, help or advise. Your passion becomes our passion.
All riders booked on to these sessions must be able to confidently ride black graded trails and wanting to develop their knowledge and speed for racing.
Please get in touch if you are unsure if this course will be a good match for you or your youngster. At our discrepancy, if your child is under the age limit but already racing, we may consider them to take part on this course.
The sessions are 10am-1pm meeting at Pedalabikeaway at 9.45 so we are ready to start for 10am.
