About this Event
Overview: This course reviews ICS and EOC responsibilities and functions and depends heavily on exercises and group discussions to formulate the interface. The course provides an opportunity for participants to begin developing an interface between an Incident Management Team and EOC personnel.
Target Audience:State and local personnel responsible for developing, staffing, managing and operating an EOC and coordinating EOC operations with a field command post.
Mandatory prerequisites:
*FEMA EMI: IS-100.c: Introduction to Incident Command System, ICS-100
*FEMA EMI IS-200.c: ICS for Single Resources and Initial Action Incidents or FEMA EMI IS-2200: Basic Emergency Operations Center
*FEMA EMI IS-700.b: An Introduction to the National Incident Management System
*IS-0800.d National Response Framework (NRF)
This course is part of the FEMA Advanced Professional Series (APS)
This course is a recommended requirement to the new FEMA G2300: Intermediate EOC Operations Center class.
