ABOUT THE PROGRAM: Learn about the history of wool and felting methods used throughout the centuries to create art and textiles that have kept humans warm, boats sailing, and homesteads warm for centuries. Meet friendly English Angora rabbits, for inspiration and cuddles, and enjoy seasonally spiced tea and cookies while you create with your community! Participants will manipulate wool from their kits using the art of painting and sculpting with wool using various techniques.
ABOUT THE FELTING KITS: All participants will receive a kit with supplies to explore wet felting and needle felting during the workshop, and will receive a demonstration of both methods. Material kits and all materials included are yours to keep, and packed with enough roving and supplies to continue your crafting adventure at home.
