Using a photograph as reference, participants will use the softest of materials, wool roving, as if they were paint, along with a special barbed needle to create a felted landscape on a backing of raw silk. Students may bring their own landscape photographs (recommended size 8" x 10"), or use one provided by the instructor. $20 materials fee payable to instructor day of workshop.Diane Cadrain is a Connecticut artist who uses fiber to create unique and beautiful images. Her work includes hand-painted fabric, felted fibers, machine piecing and quilting, hand embroidery, and beading.
$100 members, $110 non-members, + $20 materials fee payable to instructor at start of class
