Ready to get crafty with some serious ghost energy? Join KT's Craft n Draft for "Felt and Fabulous: DIY Whimsical Ghost Garland" - the perfect blend of spooky creativity and good vibes!
About Needle Felting:
Needle felting is a relaxing, meditative craft where you use a special barbed needle to poke loose wool fibers until they mesh together into solid shapes. Think of it as "sculpting with wool" - no glue, no sewing, just gentle poking motions that magically transform fluffy wool into adorable creations!
What You'll Learn & Create:
Each ghost starts with a pre-cut white, pink, or black felt body (so we can focus on the fun parts!). You'll:
- Choose your ghost's theme and personality accessories
- Sweet & Sassy spirits
- Hocus Pocus witchy vibes
- Mean Girls energy
- Classic scary movie themes
- Learn basic needle felting techniques to add facial features
- Needle felt small accessories like devil horns, hands, hair, or movie-themed props
- Assemble 3-4 ghosts into a completed 4ft garland with black pom poms to add some flair.
The Crafting Reality:
Needle felting is wonderfully therapeutic but takes time - think zen, not speed! While we'll make great progress during our 2 hours together, you may want to add finishing touches at home. No worries though - you can take home:
- Detailed instruction sheet for continued crafting
- Extra wool in your chosen colors
- Your special felting needles and felting pad.
Skill Level:
Perfect for complete beginners! Needle felting is very forgiving - if you don't like something, just keep poking until it looks right. The motion is actually quite soothing, like crafting meditation. But please note, it does require repetitive hand motions and may not be suitable for everyone.
