Inspired by autumn, harvest, and Halloween, join artist Amy Bradshaw to celebrate pumpkins this season. Felt Pumpkin Art Workshop
Date: Saturday, October 4, 2025
Time: 12-4pm
Cost: $85 + GST (Supplies included)
Learn a new artful, handmade technique by wet-felting a pumpkin. Each cantaloupe sized three-dimensional vessel will be made with wool by using a resist, soap, and warm water. This technique will help you form the stem as well as the hollow form of the pumpkin.
This wet-felting process is commonly used to make vessels, slippers, and hats. We will cover how using a resist works for the desired outcome. Instruction will include measuring, shaping, and finishing, all while making your own personalized, functional art. Come in comfy clothing and be prepared to roll your sleeves up and be ready to work with water and soap.
NOTE: All ages welcome, children under 9 must be accompanied by an adult. Beginner or intermediate felters welcome!

MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR:
Amy Bradshaw is an educator and artist residing in the Okanagan Valley, BC. With a BFA from Emily Carr (Vancouver) and many years of exploring different mediums and materials, she has happily found her way to fibre arts as both a practicing artist and instructor. Amy’s inherent understanding and usage of colour through both realistic and abstract imagery allows a real-life fluidity to appear in her work, echoing her first-hand curiosity of the natural world. Florals, animals, and large colourful abstracts continue to inspire her in and out of the studio. An avid gardener, baker, mountain biker, swimmer, and hiker, Amy finds endless inspiration in both the natural and urban landscapes of the Okanagan Valley.
