Felt Keychains & Screen Printing

Casey's Craft Club and Gay Girl Coffee Club are teaming up to create the perfect crafty Sunday activity. We will be designing felt keychains and live screen printing a limited edition felt pennant for this event only. This craft involves cutting up felt, adding embellishments or embroidery of your choice, stuffing your creation to give it a little plush, and attaching to a keychain. Plus you will be able to pull your own print on to a pennant with Gay Girl Coffee Club's screen printing set up. The event will take place at Case for Making, a local art supply shop in the Outer Sunset known for their handmade watercolors.

All materials will be provided. Feel free to bring any additional materials that will help you get into the creative zone or anything specific you want to add to your keychain — maybe a very special charm, button or bead. No experience necessary, although some sewing skills will come in handy if you have them.

You are welcome to bring drinks and food to enjoy at the event but we encourage you to get there early and support Damnfine Coffee next door to the event space or supporting another local coffee shop—Black Bird Bookstore and Café, Andytown, Java Beach, Devil's Teeth.

Gay Girl Coffee Club hosts screen printing & coffee pop-ups in the Bay Area with the goal of building queer community.
