About this Event
We’re kicking off our fall workdays with some work on a set of culverts in Lawrence Woods on Saturday, September 27th from 9 AM to 12 PM. We’ll be improving drainage at Fells location B6-12 on Rams Head Path/Road. We’ll be digging, rock shopping, and doing rock work - the usual., but we’re hoping to improve drainage in a section of the fells trails system that often floods and its the perfect time to work on it.
We’re working on getting approval from DCR on a longer term set of projects centered around the intersection of the Cross Fells and Skyline Trails (location C5-16) but it may take a month or so. That will be our area of focus for our monthly workdays for the next year or more.
We’ll meet . Drive all of the way to the back, back parking lot, there should be parking there as there are usually language schools in session on Saturday mornings and Medford High School’s lots are busy (allow for ample time).

Please wear pants, tall socks, good sturdy hiking boots or sneakers, and clothes you don't mind getting dirty. We recommend bringing a full reusable water bottle, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, bug spray, and any snacks you'd like.
