The Maverick Theater is bringing back an audience favorite this spring, Fellowship! The Musical. Fellowship! is the hilarious musical parody of theJRR Tolkien novel, The Fellowship of the Ring, following all of the events from this epic adventure with one big difference: This time it’s funny!
This Broadway style musical is a hilarious send-up featuring twelve original songs, from an over-the-top opening number complete with barefooted tap-dancing Hobbits to an elf-on-human 80’s power ballad with live guitar solo performed by the rightful heir of Gondor.
In an actual showstopper, the Balrog (a terrifying creature of shadow and flame) performs a sequin-studded New York style cabaret number. This show is sure to have you tapping your toes and rolling with laughter!
Fellowship! The Musical opens April 4th and runs through May 17th. Performances are Fridays & Saturdays at 8:00 p.m., Sundays at 6:00 p.m. General Admission Seats - $39, Students with an ID - $21.50.
