Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement workshop for dancers! The more comfortable we feel in our own bodies and how we move, the more our dancing improves. We'll start with 1) an awareness exercise for partner dancing, followed by 2) an in-depth somatic awareness meditation for individuals. The bulk of the time will be 3) a 50-min Awareness Through Movement lesson.
The lesson will consist of harmonizing the relationship between the front and back muscles for easier standing and balance. Lesson is done lying on the back with legs crossed and tilting legs left and right. Coordinating arms, eyes, and breathing with movement of the legs.

*Yoga mats will be provided but bring your own if you prefer
*Studio will be comfortably heated but wear layers or even a blanket if you get cold easily
*Wear comfortable clothing
