About this Event
This year’s theme will explore how women are leading the way through sustainability and we would like to invite YOU to join us and apply this sustainable lifestyle into your everyday routines, now more than ever.
The event will consist of a 30-minute sustainable panel led by Jocelyn Castillo @chasingcarpediem, Interior Designer & Influencer Dani Klarić, EcoFashion Director at Debris Free Ocean Colleen Coughlin, and the Sustainability Manager of the City of Miami Beach, Yanira Pineda.
All attendees will have the opportunity to swap clothes with Fika Creative Group’s Style Swap Series. Each guest is allowed to bring up to 3 articles of new or lightly loved clothing items/accessories to the event. They will then swap their items with the other attendees.
What better way to express your artistic self during Art Basel than to swap secondhand items and give your clothes new life!
The best part *DRUM ROLL PLEASE* ALL leftover clothing pieces from the swap will be donated to the Lotus House Women’s Shelter in Miami.
In addition, a percentage of ticket sale proceeds will go towards funding a scholarship through Feel Free Be Yourself Org. This scholarship will be offered to all Latinx women who are applying for college or are looking for a grant for a small business startup!
