This interactive experience highlights the wellness benefits of working with soil, fostering a sense of growth and renewal. Following the planting, join in a heartfelt "Blessing of the Hands" ceremony to honor and support the invaluable contributions of caregivers, acknowledging their compassion and dedication. This session combines elements of nature, community, and appreciation to nurture both body and spirit. Take the planted bulb (and instructions) home, watch it grow and enjoy its blooms.
💜Bye, Bye Paper Files (by Wendy Horbinski): a practical and empowering presentation perfect for those who are downsizing, moving or navigating a medical event. This session helps participants get organized, understand what documents to keep or shred, and feel more prepared for life’s transitions.
💜Laughter Yoga (by Dan Michaels, Public Health Educator): You may have heard about the health benefits of laughter including stress reduction, improved oxygen intake, boosted immune system and others. However, is there enough humor around us to get enough laughter throughout the day? Laughter yoga teaches anyone can laugh without relying on humor, jokes or comedy. Come learn laughing exercises that can get you to laugh anywhere anytime to gain the health benefits of laughing….And have fun!

💜Self-care (by Courtney Klepp, ADRC Health Promotions Coordinator): Self-care is a necessary and unselfish tool for maintaining good health and well-being. This session will educate individuals on the steps they can take for balanced physical, mental, and spiritual health needs amidst everyday responsibilities.
💜Changing Roles & Relationships (by Chaplain Howard): Grief, bereavement, and beyond. Howard has dedicated over 45 years to serving his community in a variety of roles, always with a deep commitment to guiding and nurturing the spiritual well-being of others. His life’s work has centered around being a compassionate presence—especially in life’s most vulnerable moments. Whether sitting beside patients in their final days or offering support to grieving families, he has helped countless individuals find meaning, peace, and connection through the dying process. His calming and compassionate presence has allowed families to begin healing, helping them to redefine their grief journey with dignity, love, and hope. Today, he joins us to share profound insights on navigating change through grief, and to offer a message of healing, resilience, and the possibility of peace—even in the midst of loss.
