About this Event
Food security stakeholders are invited to join us for an important discussion about strengthening our food systems in Northeast Nebraska.
Despite being one of the most productive agricultural regions in the state, Northeast Nebraska imports most of its food. We're pleased to host Ken Meter, an author and food systems expert from the Crossroads Resource Center, who will present findings from the 2024 Northeast Nebraska Local Farm & Food Economy report.
This event offers a unique opportunity to explore ways to enhance local food systems alongside one of the leading authorities on local foodsheds.
This event is available online via zoom or in person at the Norfolk library.
