Experience hands-on lessons developed through the expertise of Ohio educators.

Champion science education with relevant agriculture career tie-ins and STEM skills.
This workshop will equip you to lead your students in:
- Using the engineering design process to produce the greatest volume of ethanol
- Modeling how enzymes affect fermentation
- Testing corn coproducts: animal feed for nutrition and ethanol for alcohol levels
You’ll receive:
a curriculum booklet addressing Ohio Science Standards in 7th and 8th grade science, Biology, Chemistry, and Environmental Science.
kit materials to perform corn fermentation, corn mash, and distillation labs in the classroom!
and all meals provided, plus .7 CEUs/7 contact hours.
